Patagonia Chocolates is more than just a cafe; it's a haven for chocolate lovers and a staple for travelers. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the inviting aroma of rich cocoa and freshly brewed coffee. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect pit stop whether you're waiting for a flight or just passing through. With friendly staff who know many regulars by name, the service at Patagonia is genuinely welcoming, as reflected in customer reviews who rave about the cheerful employees that add an extra layer of warmth to your visit.

Start your order with one of their standout offerings: the thick and fluffy Breakfast Waffles, lovingly crafted to provide the perfect fuel for your day ahead. Customers have described them as divine, making them a favorite for both young and old. Pair your waffle with a cup of their smooth, velvety hot chocolate—a popular choice that has garnered praises for its richness and comfort, especially during the cooler months. For those with a penchant for baked goods, the chocolate brownie is a must-try, promising an indulgent experience bursting with flavor.

While the cafe excels in many areas, there are a few points of constructive feedback to note. Some visitors have mentioned that the ice creams and sorbets don't quite match the quality found at other Patagonia locations but still provide a refreshing treat after your meal. Additionally, the menu options are somewhat limited, making it wise to visit with an appetite for their highlighted specialties.

Patagonia Chocolates isn’t just about food and drink; it offers a moment to relax and unwind, as expressed by locals who frequent the cafe for their daily fix. Whether it’s the regulars who enjoy a warm greeting each morning or first-time visitors experiencing the warm ambiance and delightful treats, everyone leaves with a smile. My son needs breakfast, and I need coffee before we go through security on our way out of Queenstown. There appears to be a couple of good options at the airport, and son chooses Patagonia due to their appealing sounding Breakfast Waffle offering. We are not kept waiting long before the food and coffee arrive. Son tucks into his, and wolfs it down, and I enjoy my cappuccino. The waffles are thick and substantial, the bacon well cooked, and is served with only one fried egg ( I think 2 would be nice), and the syrup is a little bit light on the quantity too. Otherwise, we are happy all round, and ready to fly with something in our tummies. Depending on what time of day you are passing through the airport, there are pizzas, gelato, chocolates, and other savouries available too. A variety of seating options allow for larger groups and families, as well as singles and couples.

Pros: 1. Staff is very polite 2. Probably the best place in the airport Cons: 1. Ice creams and sorbets aren't as good as their other outlet in the town 2. Very limited menu options I had ordered a scop of Blueberry Yogurt and a scoop of their famous Boysenberry Strawberry and Apple Sorbet. The Yogurt wasn't that good

WOW, the service I receive each day when I go get my Hot chocolate is amazing, I don't even have to tell them what I want that's how good their service is and how good they know their regular customers. Thanks, girls, for always being happy and friendly and putting a smile on my face.
